William R. Cawley, owner and partner of The Cascades, has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. Bill is the CEO of Cawley International, a full-service real estate consulting firm providing design, construction, financial services, labor and demographic studies, transaction management and other services. He has been recognized in Commercial Property News as one of the country’s “Hottest Brokers” and in the Dallas Business Journal as a “Heavy Hitter.”
Kenny Huff, Head Golf Professional, joined The Cascades from the Byron Nelson Golf School at The Players’ Championship Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas, where he was the Director of Instruction. He has nearly 25 years of experience as a teaching professional and three years of experience as a touring professional. Kenny will also head the Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf.
Nina N. Richardson, formerly of the PGA of America Hospitality Department, has joined The Cascades to serve as Club Manager. Nina brings more than 10 years of experience, having managed PGA programs and events across the country.

Peter P. Gushanas.
Peter Gushanas joined The Cascades team in late 2007 as Club General Manager. In planning for the opening of our grand new clubhouse, the developers were seeking a club industry professional highly seasoned in the art and science of opening new clubs. Peter’s entire life has been closely associated with the world of exclusive, private membership clubs. A second generation club manager, Peter was exposed at a very early age to the attractions, privileges and disciplines of “both sides of the table,” as he describes the life.
A product of Florida State University with a Bachelors Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Peter was recruited by ClubCorp (formerly Dallas based Club Corporation of America) to enter their highly regarded Managers Training Program. Over an eighteen year career with ClubCorp Peter managed a variety of their clubs throughout the country, collecting numerous company awards for “special achievement” along the way. Through this experience Peter developed expertise in food and beverage concepting and new club start-up.
In addition to his ClubCorp experience Peter has opened new clubs for developers in Florida, Hilton Head South Carolina and Aspen Colorado. Most recently Peter guided a developer owned club in the Blue Ridge Mountains through transition to ownership by the members.
Peter’s 25 plus years in private club management includes many senior management assignments with developer owned, and member / HOA owned, master planned private club communities. Peter has served as a General Manager, Vice President and Project Manager carrying responsibilities for club operations, real estate sales & marketing, real estate development, new construction, and property administration and maintenance.
In late 2008 Peter was appointed to the position of President of The Cascades of Texas.
