 Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf
The private Golf Club at The Cascades is proud to have been selected as one of only four sites in the country for the prestigious Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf. Kenny Huff, Head Golf Professional and resident of The Cascades, formerly of the Byron Nelson Golf School at The Players’ Championship Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas, will lead instruction at the Academy.
This remarkable indoor/outdoor facility will offer members of The Cascades community access to one of the few total learning centers in the country that employs the latest in digital technology and offers superior outdoor practice areas. Fairway and greenside bunkers with both uphill and downhill lies emulate conditions found out on the course.
The centerpiece of the Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf at The Cascades will be the extensive indoor facility. Golfers will be able to practice regardless of weather conditions. The heated and air-conditioned bays will allow hitting from inside the Academy to the outdoors. Private digital swing analysis and video lessons will pinpoint strengths and weaknesses, allowing our fully certified PGA teaching professionals to work with your game, professionally fit clubs, and even recommend ball types to take advantage of your club speed, launch angle, spin rate and ball speed factors. And large flat-screen monitors will enable easy viewing of video and key read-outs during your lesson.
